🤫 Paranoia Questions 18+

Paranoia is the party game engineered to drive people crazy — in the best way. You whisper a question to the person next to you, they answer OUT LOUD with someone’s name… and only a coin flip decides whether the group gets to hear what the question was.

Hearing your name called and never learning why is the “paranoia”. Expect at least one person to still be asking about it next week. Here are 70 questions, sorted from harmless to dangerous.

How to Play

  1. Sit in a circle. Player one whispers a question to the player on their left. The answer must be a person — ideally someone in the room.
  2. The listener says their answer out loud. Just the name. No context.
  3. Flip a coin: heads, the question is revealed to everyone; tails, it stays secret forever.
  4. The answerer becomes the next whisperer. Drinking variant: if the flip keeps the question secret, the named person drinks.

FAQ

How do you play paranoia?

Whisper a question to the person next to you — the answer must be someone’s name. They say the name out loud, then a coin flip decides if the question is revealed. Heads: everyone hears it. Tails: it stays secret, and that’s where the paranoia comes from.

What happens on tails?

The question is never revealed — the named person just has to live with it. In the drinking version, they take a sip as compensation. Do not renegotiate the coin. The coin is law.

What are good paranoia questions?

Questions where the name alone tells a story: “who’s most likely to have a crush on someone here” makes the whole room desperate for the reveal. Start mild to warm up, escalate as the coin builds tension.
